The shrink joint for chamber shaft is used for combining loose chamber shaft pieces.
All joints are delivered with 2 gaskets
The shrink joint for chamber shaft is assembled as follows:
First, the gasket is attached around the 2 chamber shafts that you are combining, then you attach the joint, and the shrinking of the joint initiates with help from a gas burner. Once the joint has shrunk correctly, it will form a 100% leak-proof transition between the joint and the chamber shafts.
Advantages of the joint for chamber shaft:
- Reduce material wastage because socket ends usually are short-supply goods on constructions sites.
- An economical solution for increasing inspection chambers, e.g. when modifying terrain quotas
